Great consortium for a successful project
Integrasys, established in 1990, is an SME engineering company specialized in the design, development and integration of both Non Real Time and Real Time software for automated measurement systems in the telecommunication field. Integrasys has developed technological solution in the area of eHealth, where we provide eHealth service through Television based on Multimedia Home platform (MHP) specification. In addition, Integrasys is member of the LLSA (Living Lab Salud Andalucia), which is a Living Lab for eHealth domain in the south of Spain. Integrasys has also developed a solution for elderly people in the Spanish research project ELISA, a platform and a set of distributed mobile services for elderly and disabled people. In FP6-ISTMUSIC we develop an open platform technology for the development of context aware self-adaptive mobile applications, which includes methodology, tools and SOA middleware technology. Integrasys will mainly as software designer and developer, and system integrator for demonstrator in the area of context monitoring and communication among different devices.
SIVECO: has a great experience in the designing and implementing large scale information systems for multiple domains of the public sector such as healthcare, agriculture, customs, government, education we can offer our expertise for the implementation of the software architecture that will support the collection, aggregation, archiving, allocation and analysis of the relevant information from the multitude of sensors and also the presentation of the relevant information on geospatial systems or geographical information systems in order to offer a graphical representation a more comprehensive understandin g of the different risk and hazard indicators that have to be monitored. Moreover, SIVECO has gained a solid reputation on international markets by developing successful projects together with several international companies, collaboration that has blossomed into genuine partnership over the years.
Noldus Information Technology BV
Noldus Information Technology BV develops software tools and integrated measurement systems for the study of human behaviour, emotion and human-system interaction. Areas of expertise include digital video and multimedia, computer vision, sensor technology, signal processing, electronics, mechanical engineering and software application development. The products range from data collection and analysis software to complete behavioural research facilities. The company currently employs 117 people, of whom 35 in Research & Development, and operates from offices in The Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Hungary, USA and China. The headquarters is located in Wageningen (The Netherlands).
Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena
It is placed in Seville and has assigned a population of 551856 inhabitants. Yearly they handle more than: 36000 admissions, 40000 operations, 800000 specialized consults, 64000 patients in day hospital, 11000 home assistance and 200000 attended urgencies. The unit that is taking part in the consortium is a laboratory with facilities for immunology, Cardio risk, serology, urine and fertility. They main interest in the project is to improve current workflow, which is currently based on documents and direct interaction with the personnel and interaction with other hospitals.
AIT Austrian Institute of Technology
The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology is Austria´s largest non-university research institute, specialist on research and development activities of technologies, techniques and tools of key infrastructure solutions of the future. Within the Business Unit Technology Experience (Department Innovation Systems), an experienced and interdisciplinary research team, headed by Prof. Dr. Manfred Tscheligi, deals with User Experience and specific factors, that influence experiences derived from interaction with innovative technology, goods and services.
Based on enhanced foundational interaction thinking, research activities aim to create dedicated experiences in key technology areas and application contexts in order to optimally align future technologies to specific user groups and different contextual situations. In addition, subjectively perceived qualities of these experiences are a major research focus to ascertain high quality experiences in order to ensure that acceptance of future technological innovation will be accomplished and enhanced.
To get deep insight in usage patterns and interaction quality a User Experience Laboratory equipped with modern and leading edge technology is available for user research and demonstration activities in lab based settings as well as field trials. This further includes dealing with dedicated methods and tools to support the development of high-quality technology experiences.
UHB The University and Emergency Hospital of Bucharest
The University and Emergency Hospital of Bucharest (UHB) was opened in 1978 as a clinical unit with legal authority under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health of Romania. UHB is a public health unit who’s role is to assure medical services (emergency, prevention, recovery, and palliative care) and also an University hospital, with a sustained scientific activity. UHB is composed of academic clinical and non-clinical units, which provide medical assistance, university activities, clinical research, and post-academic education having contractual relationships with approved medical faculties. Medical investigations run by this healthcare facility are numerous and complex: lab reports, sonography (cardiac, abdominal, gynecological and intravascular), radioscopy, X-ray, tomography, CT scan, MRI, angiography, scintigraphy, endoscopy and bronchoscopy, functional tests (ECG, EEG, EMG, Holter, cardiac stress test, etc.). UHB treats a wide number of pathologies, its units covering the whole variety of medical specialties: general medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, neurosurgery, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, and oncology.
